Division Energy

The VAR Energy division is active in the production of energy and produces renewable fuels from high-calorific waste. The high-calorific waste flows are processed into a homogeneous finished product, in various forms, ranging from fluff to pellets. The finished product is then used as a secondary fuel by large-scale consumers of energy in the Netherlands and abroad, such as cement factories, lime kilns, power and combined heat and power generating stations and other industrial customers.
