Environmental protection

Since 2000, VAR has been in the possession of the ISO 14001 certificate for its environmental protection system. To retain this certificate, periodical control audits are carried out at VAR. During these audits, an assessment is made not only of the licences issued and the accompanying activities, but also the internal organisation of VAR and the interaction between VAR and its surroundings. The findings of the audits and the information from the company’s own environmental protection system are published each year in the Social annual report.
